Description

I was desperately resigning myself to not being able to photograph the comet when an unexpected opportunity arrived.

Yesterday I was at the "Star party" of the local astronomy club, in a dark site close to Bologna and I had the opportunity to see it by the naked eye and with the help of a binocular for a few minutes then clouds covered the north-west horizon and any attempt to take pictures at it faded ... again!

I was already picking my night subject (a wide field towards Gamma Cyg) when, suddenly,

the comet appeared between the low clouds.

Thanks to my loved fast and agile portable setup I immediately pointed to the comet and succeed in taking approx 10 frames before the clouds got covered it again. Hooray!!
